Café Zoutsteeg

Kadinsky's smoke-friendly café opposite the Zoutsteeg coffeeshop, built around drinks, football, Friday DJs and a longer social session.

Café Zoutsteeg is the social half of the Kadinsky setup. It sits directly across from the Zoutsteeg coffeeshop and gives you somewhere to bring what you have just bought, order a drink and stay longer than the small shop opposite really allows.

The atmosphere is closer to a compact Amsterdam bar than a coffeeshop. Ajax matches get the big-screen treatment, Friday nights bring a DJ, and the room works best when you want conversation, drinks and a smoke rather than another product counter.

It does not sell cannabis itself, which is exactly why the pairing works: buy across the lane, then move over when you want the session to become more social. In one of the busiest parts of the centre, that makes the two Zoutsteeg venues stronger together than either would be on its own.
