Cookies and similar technologies

Clouded uses browser local storage and session storage rather than traditional cookies for the items listed below. These technologies save small pieces of information in your browser so features and privacy choices work. Hosting and other service providers may process ordinary network information when your browser contacts them; see the privacy notice for details.

Essential & functional storage

This storage supports requested features and remembers privacy choices. It is available whether you accept or reject analytics. Essential and functional storage cannot be disabled in Clouded, but you can clear it through your browser settings.

Optional analytics storage

The two analytics items below are created only after you accept analytics. Rejecting analytics creates neither item. Turning analytics off stops future analytics and removes both items from your browser; it does not automatically delete historical records already collected with consent. Marketing storage is not used.

• clouded.age-confirmed

  Essential / functional · Local storage

  Remembers that you confirmed you are 18 or older.

  30 days, unless you reset it or clear site data sooner.

• clouded.consent

  Essential / functional · Local storage

  Remembers whether analytics was accepted or rejected, together with the consent-system version, policy version, and decision time. It contains no analytics visitor or session identifier.

  Until you change the choice or clear site data. A changed consent or policy version causes Clouded to ask again.

• clouded:location-enabled

  Essential / functional · Session storage

  Remembers that you turned location on while moving between pages. It contains no coordinates.

  Until the browser tab is closed or location is turned off.

• clouded:location-off

  Essential / functional · Session storage

  Remembers that you turned location off in the privacy controls, so it is not restarted automatically. It contains no coordinates.

  Until the browser tab is closed or you turn location on again.

• clouded:navigation

  Essential / functional · Session storage

  Remembers the city and destination venue needed to continue walking navigation between Clouded pages. It contains no coordinates.

  Until the browser tab is closed, navigation ends, or location is turned off.

• clouded:map-viewport:<city>

  Essential / functional · Session storage

  Remembers the map camera position. It is not a separate device-location record, but may reflect roughly where you were if you centred the map on yourself.

  Until the browser tab is closed or saved map positions are cleared.

• clouded:privacy-return

  Essential / functional · Session storage

  Remembers which Clouded page the privacy-page Back link should return to. It stores a pathname only, without query strings or fragments.

  Until the browser tab is closed.

• tsr-scroll-restoration-v1_3

  Essential / functional · Session storage

  Lets the page-navigation system restore your scroll position when you go back.

  Until the browser tab is closed.

• clouded.analytics-visitor

  Optional analytics · Local storage

  A pseudonymous, server-signed token that lets Clouded recognise the same consenting browser. It is random and is not based on your IP address, location, or device fingerprint.

  Only while analytics consent is on. It is removed immediately when analytics is turned off or when you clear site data.

• clouded.analytics-session

  Optional analytics · Session storage

  A pseudonymous, server-signed token that groups consented analytics activity into a session.

  Only while analytics consent is on and no later than the end of the browser tab. Analytics sessions also end after 30 minutes without activity or after 12 hours.

Change or clear your choices

Use the privacy controls to change analytics consent, turn location off, clear saved map positions, or reset the 18+ acknowledgement. Your browser’s site-data settings can clear all local and session storage.
