Usage measurement, age confirmation and location are separate choices. Changing one does not change the others.
Essential & functional
Always-on storage used to provide requested features and remember privacy or interface choices. This includes your 18+ confirmation, consent preference, location intent, navigation state and temporary map/interface state. The consent preference does not contain an analytics visitor or session identifier.
Usage measurement
Helps Clouded understand which pages and features are used so we can improve the product. If it’s on, we create a pseudonymous identifier for this browser — not anonymous, but not linked to your name, precise location, or a device fingerprint. Turning it off stops future analytics straight away and removes the analytics identifiers from this browser. It does not automatically delete records already collected with your consent.
Current state: checking…
Marketing
Not used. Clouded runs no advertising, marketing or profiling tools, so there is nothing to switch on here.
Location
Turning location off stops the live position watch, ends any walking navigation in progress, cancels a routing request that is still running, and forgets the saved map position for this tab. Location stays off until you turn it on again yourself.
This does not withdraw the location permission you gave your browser. To do that, use the site permissions in your browser settings.
Current state: location is off.
Saved map position
The map remembers where the camera was, for this browser tab only. If you centred the map on yourself, that saved position reflects roughly where you were.

18+ confirmation
Your confirmation is remembered on this device for 30 days. Resetting it brings the age question back straight away the next time you open the guide. This page and the cookies and storage page stay available either way.
More detail is on the privacy page and the cookies and storage page.
