Nanxiang Soup Dumplings

Nanxiang centres on xiao long bao and other Shanghai-style dumplings, with a casual setup that makes it easy to drop into without turning dinner into a whole event. The soup dumplings are the obvious starting point, but there is enough around them to make sharing across the menu worthwhile.

It works especially well when you are moving through De Pijp and want something warm, filling and different from the usual burger-or-pizza fallback. Go with a couple of people, order a mix and let the dumplings do most of the work.
