Restaurant 212 is a serious dinner experience: an open kitchen where the counter wraps around the chefs and the food is designed as a full tasting menu rather than a casual meal. This is somewhere you book deliberately and give the evening to, rather than slotting it between other stops.

It makes sense for a birthday, anniversary or the night where food is the plan. The Amstel location keeps you close to the centre, but once you are inside this is very much its own event, with the pace, price and format to match.
