Siberië is a brighter, more relaxed neighbourhood-style stop that makes a nice change from the busier coffeeshops around Haarlemmerstraat and the old centre. It’s better suited to people who want to sit down and take things at an easier pace rather than rush through somewhere packed.
The western-canal location works nicely for a slower day too. It’s the kind of place that fits naturally into wandering rather than sightseeing at full speed — stop in, settle for a bit, then carry on through the canals without feeling like you’ve been swallowed by the centre.
