Few coffeeshops have a better built-in story. The Bulldog Ex-Police Station occupies a former police station on Leidseplein and opened as a coffeeshop in 1985. Traces of the building’s previous life remain part of the experience. The adjacent Bulldog Palace handles food, drinks and nightlife, so don’t confuse the two entrances.
